12:00 noon - Signing-in - Our band playing
Mingling & Refreshments 1.00 pm - Lunch
Hi all,
I hope everyone is well & had a great summer.
Next year's reunion luncheon will again be at the Donalda Club
on the 2nd Tuesday in May, the tenth.
Be sure to mark it on your calendar.
Many of us are now making plans for the upcoming holiday season. Many will travel south
for part or all of our winter season, hoping to escape a sometimes very cold winter.
Most just stay home & wait for spring, golfing, the cottage &
our annual luncheon.
Last year, sixty-one attended. It is different each year but always great fun.
You must be there to really appreciate the warm feelings of friendship, and to also enjoy &
remember the many wonderful memories from that very special time in our lives.
The band as always was terrific .Hopefully they will entertain us again next year.
Al Connolly started a change in our itinerary two years ago with a personal presentation.
It inspired Barbara 'Carruthers' Brown & Heather 'Magwood' Wallingford
to also share part of their past with us. Both were interesting & much appreciated.

I encourage anyone to volunteer to do the same. I know we all would be interested
in any short presentation about anything in your life after EHCI .
Right now we don’t have any volunteers. Please talk to me about it.
We had a 50/50 draw – won by Susan 'Dunsmoor', who generously donated her winnings,
so that we covered all our Donalda Club expenses, (even paying my bar bill).
Thank you Susan. Thanks also to Bob Pemberton & Ian Oliver for selling the draw tickets
& to all the volunteers, Russ, Bev, Dave, Carolyn, Susan for their help.
Special thanks to the Dunsmoor, the members at the Donalda Club & we are their guests.
It was & is a fun event and always enjoyed by all.
Again I have been remiss in not sending out more EHCI news & making better use
of our website. I'm sure many of us have some pictures (recent or past) that you could share with us.
Please forward them to me & Russ will put them on our website for all to view.
Bob Craig had sent me pictures from the last luncheon & I had misplaced the 2014 disk.
I found them & I sent them to Russ along with some videos taken by me with my phone.
Russ corrected some of my flaws & has put them on our website.
There is a video of our band & one of Heather 'Magwood' from last year.
Two alumni members performed at the Scarborough Civic Centre.
Lynn Johnson earlier in the summer & Bob Clegg's Jazz Band last weekend.
I took short videos of them & they will be on the website soon.
You can view all the pictures & videos on this page: PHOTOS
When you try to view the pictures on Snapfish, it can be a little confusing.

If you have any problems let Russ or me know.
Russ is now saving us more than $ 100.00 a year by hosting our website on his
personal server.
Anyway, I recently received an email from Joanne “Rudd” who lives in California.
She is planning a trip to Toronto & will probably be joining us next year.
Cindy “McVeity” who lives in Vancouver, might also join us.
Al Connolly, also from Vancouver will be joining us again, as he does every year.
Sandra “King” Lewis has had a book published & might share her story with us.
I haven't heard from Sue 'Harding' directly, as she is still traveling around North America.
She has kept up a fabulous blog of her wonderful trip. www.sueandjohnairstreaming.blogspot.ca
Hopefully she will be back in time for our luncheon & will share stories &
pictures of her amazing trip.
The MacKenzie girls (Gail & Pat, EHCI graduates from 1959)
who have joined us the past three years have heard from other 1959 graduates
& some of them might also be joining us. They heard we are a fun group, and only know some
of us by reputation only, but would like to attend. That would be great.
There were also many who were unable to attend last year for various reasons
(not necessarily health) who said they were planning to attend next year.
Sue has been the keeper of the Master List for our alumni group.
There has been many changes & additions since she started her travels two years ago.
For sure I have missed some of the changes. I apologize for that. So please pass on the invite
to anyone who may not be on the list but would like to join us.
